• silver flash — This is a highly agile and extremely fast, lightweight creature. It has two pairs of wings, allowing it to perform many complex aerial manoeuvres. Its body is usually silver, grey and black, helping it blend into the darkness at night. During the day, it can change colour like a chameleon to camouflage itself within its surroundings and protect itself. It is primarily nocturnal and can be domesticated for reconnaissance and lookout duties
• curse — This is a non-living entity, tentatively named “Mechanism Kill”. Once a target is cursed, they begin to experience hallucinations. At first, these are brief and mild, lasting only a moment. However, as the curse progresses, the hallucinations become increasingly vivid and last longer, until eventually, the things they see and experience in their hallucinations manifest in reality. For example, someone who is afraid of swimming might initially experience a brief sensation that the ground beneath them is flowing like water. As the curse develops, they may feel weightless, as if they are floating, making it difficult to stand steadily. Eventually, at an opportune moment, their surroundings will transform into a real threat. For instance, water may mysteriously seep into their room and drown them. To survive, the target must find a way to overcome the final stage. This is because the phenomenon of hallucinations becoming reality can only occur once. In this example, the victim simply needs to escape the room before it floods.
• Parasite — This is an original creature design exploring the relationship between a parasitic plant and a wolf-like carnivorous animal. It focuses on parasitism, reproduction, ecological adaptation, and how differences in intelligence influence the behaviour of different groups. Biological Structure and Parasitic Relationship The plant originally lacked the ability to hunt independently, so it gradually evolved a way to survive by parasitising wolf-like animals. By using the host’s body, strength, and hunting instincts, the plant gains the ability to capture prey and sustain itself. The plant’s roots, stems, and branch-like structures are actually all parts of the same structure. They are covered in sharp barbs that pierce the host’s body to anchor the plant in place. Its branches and vines then gradually wrap around the host’s body. The plant can attract other animals through its flowers, fruits, and distinctive scent. It also has specialised sensory structures and a defensive mechanism capable of temporarily paralysing prey. Reproduction and Nutritional Mechanism The plant reproduces mainly through its fruits. These fruits are enclosed by vine-like structures and grow in places that the host cannot easily reach, preventing it from eating them during normal activities. When food becomes scarce, the plant can sense when the host’s bodily functions have significantly declined. It then releases its fruits, which the host eventually eats. The genetic material contained within the fruits is later dispersed through the host’s faeces, allowing the plant to reproduce and spread. This mechanism not only ensures the plant’s reproduction but also provides the host with additional nutrition during periods of famine, helping prevent it from dying too easily. Even if the host eventually dies from starvation, the plant has already completed its reproductive process. The Host’s Survival and Defence Mechanisms The relationship between the plant and its host is not entirely equal. Th
