Museum of ME
My room looks different at night. The lights turn blue, the world gets quieter, and somehow my head gets louder. This is a collection of the things that make me who I am. The film I spent hours editing, the songs in my Notes app that aren't finished yet, the artwork I've made out of feelings I couldn't really explain, and the Taylor Swift wall that probably says more about me than I ever could. I'm always making something a song, a little piece of art, or a mess of words at an hour when I should probably be asleep. Some things get finished. Some stay in my notes. Some are just feelings I've managed to give a shape to. Museum of Me isn't really about displaying my best work. It's about showing the things I keep coming back to, the things I love, the things I create, and the little details of my life that might seem ordinary to someone else but mean something to me.
Artworks
- Midnight Blue Room (2022) — My room looks different at night. Everything turns blue, and the world gets a little quieter, even when my head doesn't. It's where I spend hours listening to music, writing things I'll probably never finish, and just being in my own little world. Maybe it's just a room to someone else, but to me, it's where a lot of me exists.
- Spilt Glitter (2002) — Spill Glitter was the first heartbreaking album I ever wrote. Looking back at it now, I can see how much my songwriting has changed. There are things I'd write differently, things I probably wouldn't write at all, and songs that make me wonder what I was even thinking but I don't think that makes it any less important. This album holds a version of me that existed before I knew how to put things into words the way I do now. I might write better songs today, but this was where I started. And even if I've outgrown the music, I haven't completely outgrown the girl who wrote it. A part of her will always be here.
- Film: Anjaan (2001) — This is Anjaan, the film I spent hours working on, editing, re-editing, and probably overthinking more than I should have. There's so much that goes into making a film that people never really get to see. The final version is only a small part of it. The late nights, the little details, and everything I learnt along the way are part of this too.
- Swift Wall (2023) — If you know me, you probably know how much music means to me. Taylor Swift has been a part of so many different moods, memories, and versions of myself. Sometimes a song says something I couldn't figure out how to say myself. So, yes, there's an entire wall dedicated to her. Honestly, it makes sense to me.
- (2026) — Some songs are finished, and some have been sitting in my Notes app for who knows how long. Sometimes I have a line but no song, or a feeling but no words for it yet. I keep them anyway. Maybe I'll come back to them one day, or maybe they'll stay right where they are. Either way, they were once something I needed to write down.
