• Frozen in Sound — Music is strongly connected to memory. A single song can instantly take us back to a person, a place, a feeling, or a specific period of our lives. It has the ability to preserve moments that might otherwise fade with time. Album covers work in a similar way. They are more than just artwork used to represent an album—they are visual expressions of its identity, emotions, themes, and cultural context. Before we even hear the first song, a cover can create a mood, introduce a story, or give us a glimpse into the artist’s world. Our exhibition explores the stories behind selected album covers and looks beyond their visual appearance. Each cover has been created within a particular moment, shaped by the artist’s experiences, influences, ideas, and emotions.
